Ayushu100 ("we", "us", "our") is run by its founders Sivaprabu and Dharani from 3A New Street, Kaikatti, Musiri, Tamil Nadu 621211, India. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect your personal data when you visit www.ayushu100.com, place an order, or contact us.

We handle personal data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the rules made under it, and the Information Technology Act, 2000. For this purpose, we are the "Data Fiduciary" and you are the "Data Principal".

1. What we collect

  • Contact and delivery details: name, phone number, email address, billing and shipping address and pincode.
  • Order details: products bought, order value, order and delivery history, and returns or refunds.
  • Payment details: payments are processed by Shopify and its payment partners. We do not see or store your full card, UPI PIN or net-banking details. We only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, with limited details such as the payment method used.
  • Account details: if you create an account, your login email and saved addresses.
  • Messages: anything you send us by email, WhatsApp, phone or our contact form.
  • Newsletter: your email address and your consent, if you subscribe.
  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser, device type, pages visited and the pincode you check. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies.

2. Why we use it

  • To process, pack, ship and deliver your orders, and to handle cancellations, returns and refunds.
  • To send order confirmations, shipping updates and customer-service replies.
  • To send newsletters and offers, only if you have agreed. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
  • To prevent fraud and keep the website secure.
  • To understand how the website is used, so that we can improve it.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We only use your data for the purposes you gave it for, or as the law allows. We do not sell your personal data.

3. Who we share it with

  • Shopify, which hosts our store and processes payments and orders. See the Shopify Privacy Policy.
  • Payment gateways and banks, to complete your payment.
  • Courier and logistics partners, who receive your name, address and phone number to deliver your order.
  • Email and messaging tools (such as Shopify Email), to send order updates and newsletters you have agreed to.
  • Government or law-enforcement authorities, when the law requires it.

Our service providers may store data on servers outside India. When they do, it stays protected by their security measures and applicable law.

4. Cookies

We use cookies to keep your cart, remember choices (such as the pincode you checked or whether you closed our signup popup), and measure website traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some features, such as the cart, may then not work properly.

5. How long we keep it

We keep order and invoice records for as long as tax and accounting laws require. Other data is kept only while it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, and is then deleted. If you unsubscribe from our newsletter, we stop sending marketing emails straight away.

6. Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can:

  • ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
  • ask us to correct, complete or update your data;
  • ask us to erase your data, where we no longer need to keep it by law;
  • withdraw your consent (for example, to marketing emails) at any time;
  • nominate another person to exercise these rights for you if you die or become unable to act;
  • raise a grievance with us, and escalate it to the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied with our response.

7. Children

Many of our products are made for children, but our website and checkout are meant to be used by adults (18 years and above). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has given us personal data without a parent's or guardian's consent, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security

Our store runs on Shopify, which uses encrypted (HTTPS) connections and PCI-DSS compliant payment processing. We limit access to your data to the people who need it to fulfil your order. No system is completely secure. If a personal data breach occurs, we will inform affected customers and the authorities as the law requires.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the "Last updated" date.
